touched any shoes, furniture, phones, remotes etc., content with her own toys to chew on. she's been socialized at puppy school, with numerous other dogs of all breeds and although i do not have any children, with the cooperation of a school crossing guard i know by my folks house i had her meet hundreds of school kids many of whom would call her name approaching us, at the crossing a couple times a week for a month or two after completing puppy school.

i've fed her the wellness white fish and sweet potato with a small amount of high quality left-overs and for treats she will eat pretty much and raw fruit or vegetable i give her. everywhere i go i get compliments on her good looks and behaviour.

my folks are in their 70's love to have her when i'm away and have no problems handling her, and they also notice that her behaviour/personality is better than my previous dogs. recently my old girl roxee passed at two months short of 13 years and raven quickly 'grew up' naturally becoming more attentive and protective. inside she will growl if she hears anything outside, like a vehicle pulling in the drive, voices, the garbage truck stopping and outside she will bark, not alot just enough to let me know something is going on. never had a problem with nuisance type barking.

the only problem i had was her wanting to chase cars when walking (on leash) on the road, but with some help we overcame this problem and she 'heels' well now. she loves the water/to swim, run, play ball/fetch, play period!! overall, she's a great dog. paul novosad  (ivy von narnia - "raven")

hi robin,

i was just checking out your site again and admiring many of your beautiful dogs.  this is elaine vink from mt. brydges writing to you.  just want to let you know that timber is doing really well.  he's the best shepherd ever and just a big pet, truly one of our family members.  he now has a corgi for a brother and they just love each other.

i just recommended your dogs to someone as i was saying what a great breeding program you have and what healthy dogs that you produce.

anyway, i've attached a pic of timber for you to see. he's now about 5 1/2 years old and still loving life.  he's the best boy, loves the kids, dogs and cats. right now he's sleeping on "his" leather couch here in my office. he's just a sweetheart.

my vet in london also asked me a long time ago about your kennel as she wanted to recommend it to her clients. she loved that timber had such clean hips and was so well put together and his great personality. she said she always would not recommend shepherds to people as she'd seen way too many with hip problems. she was truly impressed with timber.

hi robin: haven't touched based for a while so i thought i would send some christmas greetings (and a picture) as well as let you know that summer is doing fantastic. her manners are pretty good, except for when she knows there's food on the counter. she loves the comforts of home in that we usually find that she's sneaked into someone's bed to sleep and now that the snow has come she would rather stay in than go out. she's just an all around sweet animal. she travels well and has joined the family on all of our camping trips including virginia beach in august. she likes to be queen when camping and usually can be found sitting on the perch of her picnic table. cindy diodati

"...i just wanted to let you know that everything is going well. i think that you can add to your form letter that your puppies come pre-housebroken! one the way home the pup was perfectly quiet and did not get carsick. we took her out to the area of the lawn we want her to use when we got home; she has used that spot consistently since then, with no mistakes in the house. we have been using the command "hurry up", and she seems to be reacting to it making the 3 a.m. pitstop fairly painless. she played with the kids in the backyard on sunday, running in the grass and chasing after her toys, she sat by the back door when she was tired to come back inside, and took her naps in her crate without prompting. my wife reports that she has been excellent at her work. i think that my wife likes the company, and the pup is adapting extremely well to her new schedule."
