Val is a large boned dog, with an excellent personality. He has a very high retreive drive, and is extremely outgoing. Before he was two years old, he was the #5 German Shepherd in Canada for Obedience in 2000. Val has finished his obedience titles and Schutzhund titles, he may still be competing in tracking and/or herding in the next few years. He has also starred in several t.v. commercials and movies. Val's pups inherit his high will to please, his sociability, agility, and intelligence. Val carries the recessive black gene, is Von Willebrand's tested, and has his hips certified.
